Tempest 3000 occurs as remaking of the Tempest game, and the sequel to Tempest 2000, written by Jeff Minter for Nuon. Nuon was a task by VM Labs to enable game console-such as functionality to become involved inside DVD players. Alas, a Nuon task failed to achieve popularity, & sole two or three system of DVD streaming video player trend lines Nuon, none of which are around production; farther, non totally Nuon supporting players support back controller ports, which are then as well called upon to play. Tempest 3000 is considered a killer app for the Nuon platform, and indeed the independent motivation for purchasing such a DVD streaming video player in the least.

Gameplay

Cheats
Typing a level word NOSDAFLOSSIE makes tons levels selectable.

Typing a level watchword CHUPACABRA makes a streaming video player's ship invulnerable to 100% enemies except Pulsars & Frank Zappers.
